I have been using boombarbers for over two years now. I have always been delighted with the service I have received and way I have been treated. I have now got my mum, dad, brother, sister and numerous friends using the salon and they love it too. The staff are kind, welcoming, helpful and very attentive. I have all also experienced the hot shave a few times which was a great relaxing hour treatment. Boombarbers have always given me the great hair cut, style and look I have been after. Total Hollywood. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Used boombarbers for the first time last week. Can't believe I never knew this was in Dalkeith until recently. Great looking shop with a chilled out friendly atmosphere. Got a great haircut too. Defo found my new hairdressers :) Highly recommend

I have been using this shop since it opened, I have found the staff and owner to be pleasant and helpful on every occasion I have been in...not to mention the great haircuts Ive had.
It seems to me people are very quick to judge and post negative comments, I mean 20 mins waiting, it's not excactly the end of the world and lets face it we all have off days.
Keep the great work up Boom people.

I haven't been to this salon but was thinking of going to the Dalkeith salon, but if it takes the owner 4 months to post an apology and to make amends for the bad service the person above received, then I'm not sure if I'd bother.

Went to these guys for an important haircut before leaving to go to New York for a big family wedding. Arranged an appointment and turned up at the allocated time. On arrival I was told I'd be seen 'in a minute' the woman who checked in my booking then left the salon while the other stylist continued cutting the other customer's hair...
20 minutes later I was still there waiting without being acknowledged by the only person working in the salon. Completely unacceptable for a booked appointment. I left without a haircut and will encourage others not to bother with the timewasters at Boombarbers - they took an hour out of my day and I have nothing to show for it.
