Catch the Olympic fever!

OLYMPIC fever hits Bonnyrigg on Saturday, June 12, when there will an opportunity to take part in a host of sports.

The Midlothian Olympics, which will be held in King George V Park from 11am to 4pm, marks the end of National Sports Week.

It has been organised by Midlothian Council's sports and leisure services team in partnership with the Active Schools team.

Money raised will go towards the cost of sending seven Lothian athletes to the 2011 Special Olympics in Athens.

Midlothian Olympic competitions include four-a-side football, a round robin hockey festival, and 1k, 3k and 5k 'fun runs' walks (entries for these taken on the day).
