Loanhead pupils impress in competition
WHEN it comes to being good neighbours, the pupils at Paradykes Primary, Loanhead, have got it sussed.
For a team of P6 children won this year's Mayburn Neighbourhood Watch Scheme's annual inter-school competition, which had the theme "Responsible People make Good Neighbours".
Pupils from the town's three schools, including Loanhead and St Margaret's Primaries, produced a powerpoint presentation for watch members.
Watch chairman Mrs Norma Bews said the standard of entries was "excellent". "We had a very hard job deciding who was the winner," she added.
