AN exhibition and film inspired by the National Mining Museum are now on display at the Newtongrange tourist attraction.
Artist-in-residence Claire Lamond has been putting together a short stop-gap animation film over the last six months - ‘Seams and Embers’ - inspired by her time at the museum.
Now an exhibition featuring the film and detailing the process of making it, is on display at the museum’s new special exhibition gallery.
Entry to the exhibition, which runs into Spring 2013, is free.
