Put to shame by Fife

I had the privilege the other day to travel around a few villages in Fife, ending at Alloa and back by Culross.

I felt absolutely sad at the way they put Gorebridge and Arniston to shame.

Every street we passed was absolutely spotless – no chip papers, no juice cans, no plastic bottles etc. It was a treat to drive through them.

Perhaps our council should ask Fife Council how they manage to achieve the cleanliness.

Another thing I never saw was dog dirt. Last week walking from Gorebridge bank to the chemist I had to dodge five lots of dog faeces. The filthy pigs who let their dogs do this should be made to lick it up.

On another occasion in the Main Street, twice in the one day, two people whose dogs were on leads stood there and let their dogs foul the pavement.

They stood there showing what they thought of Gorebridge.

Mind you, it's not the animal's fault, it's the fault of the animal holding the leash.
