Royal visit to Midlothian research institute to celebrate 90th anniversary
THE Princess Royal brought birthday greetings to the Moredun Foundation, one of the world's leading centres for animal health and welfare.
Princess Anne helped staff and supporters celebrate Moredun's 90th anniversary at its headquarters at the Pentlands Science Park, near Penicuik.
The event highlighted some of the research achievements made by Moredun scientists in order to improve animal health and welfare at home and abroad.
During her keynote address the Princess Royal congratulated Moredun for the vital contribution it had made to livestock industry over the past 90 years.
