Snowsport solution

When Midlothian councillors decided they couldn't afford £17,000 a year to maintain Loanhead Town Hall (that's about one-and-a-half people on minimum wage), they didn't take long to find a solution, and carry it out.

So now they find they can't afford to run Hillend Ski Slope (sorry, the Midlothian Snowsport Centre). Well, there's the answer. Knock it down and build houses! Simples!

Perhaps they can take the decision when they're done celebrating the life of Joseph Grimaldi, respected as the greatest British clown of all.
