Treat in store for Midlothian music fans
MUSIC lovers from near and far will be in Loanhead this weekend for the town's 10th music festival.
The three-day event kicks off on Friday June 11 at 7.30pm with a concert in Loanhead Ex-servicemen's Club featuring Tam White and the City of Edinburgh Pipe Band.
A series of music workshops will take place in Loanhead Miners' Club lounge on Saturday.
There will be one-hour masterclasses for all abiliities, in slide guitar, fingerstyle guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and accordion.
A craft fair, featuring a large collection of works by local artists, will be held in the miners' club main hall from 11am to 4pm.
