1963

BONNYRIGG: Despite extensive police inquiries, vandals who overturned the putting green hut in King George V Park, Bonnyrigg, have not yet been caught. The Burgh Surveyor Mr E Docherty said that there had been further vandalism in the park, the worst being the recent instance during the hours of darkness.

1988

DALKEITH: The safety of children attending King’s Park Primary will be improved by traffic management measures proposed by Lothian Regional Council.

1998

BONNYRIGG: Bonnyrigg residents are hopeful that the first brick of their new health centre will soon be laid following a meeting being held at the present centre today. A petition calling for the redevelopment of Bonnyrigg’s health centre in a central location has attracted around 4,000 signatures.
