BONNYRIGG: Some 18 months have passed since Bonnyrigg and Lasswade decided that they would consider twinning arrangements between themselves and a continental town. A committee was formed for the purpose of examining the whole position.
DALKEITH: Promotion of tourism in Midlothian will receive a further boost in February when a public meeting is held in Dalkeith to establish a local Tourist Association.
STRAITON: Villagers in Damhead and Old Pentland hope to see the Straiton Bing area transformed into a community woodland. The Straition Bing Group has published its ‘Community Visison’ which calls for the rehabilitation of the area of land, close to the city bypass.
