PATHHEAD: The modernisation of Pathhead Primary School has reached a new stage of development. The new indoor toilets for girls are coming into full use this week.

1991

BONNYRIGG: District councillors have given the go-ahead for a major housing development at Rosewell Road, Bonnyrigg. The Woolwich Homes and Walker Group Partnership has secured planning consent to build 172 homes, associated roads and parking on land at Chester View and Hopefield.

2006

PENICUIK: Milton Bridge mother Gillian Swan has appealed for more people to become blood donors after her two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia. Young Megan received platelets twice and two blood transfusions in a three-month period after doctors diagnosed the illness.
