Penicuik's flourishing music scene will be hitting the high notes this evening (Friday).
The latest acoustic jam session will be held in the lounge bar of the Roadhouse, Edinburgh Road, from 9pm to 2am.

The organisers are revelling in the success of the October session, which featured nine different types of instruments, 25 musicians and singers, and 60 songs and tunes played.

The Penicuik sessions complement similar acoustic evenings at the Laird and Dog Inn, Lasswade, on the first Friday of the month and at the Masons Arms, Loanhead, on the second Friday of the month.
