Biker 122mph speeding claim

A 47-YEAR-OLD Penicuik man has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for allegedly riding a motorbike at twice the speed limit.
The biker was recorded travelling at more than 122mph on the A701 Leadburn to Broughton road just after 1pm on Sunday April 27.

The motorcyclist was caught by two Scottish Borders road policing officers who were taking part in the national speeding and seatbelt campaign.

The officers were in an unmarked vehicle.
