GIRLS and officers from the Newtongrange Girls' Brigade set off for a magical weekend at Disneyland, Paris, last weekend, above, to celebrate the company's 90th anniversary year.
Explorers, juniors and brigaders have already enjoyed parties and a special thanksgiving service with parents and friends in Newtongrange Church to mark this milestone.

A very successful lunch at the Scottish Mining Museum was organised for past members of the company to reminisce about their time in the Girls’ Guildry and Girls’ Brigade.

Captain Linda Anderson said: “A big thank you to all parents and friends who supported race nights, coffee mornings and bag packing to make this dream come true.”
