A NETWORK of family friendly walking routes is being launched in Mayfield.
Five routes, trialled by locals, have been crafted into family-friendly maps designed by schoolchildren.

It is hoped the maps will encourage local people of all ages and abilities to walk more in the local area and explore the hidden gems that the area has to offer.

Sharon Hill at the Mayfield and Easthouses Development Trust said: "Walking is a great way to keep fit and the walking network will help people reconnect with the area they live in, building community spirit and a sense of belonging."
