Gorebridge Primary School held two special assemblies last week to celebrate all things Scottish.
During one of the assemblies, which focused on Scots songs and poetry, P7 pupils were recognised for all the hard work and effort they had put into their recent Burns Projects.
Headteacher Gillian Grant spoke of the importance of the bard to the school.
She said: “The whole Burns ethos is so important to the school, and is something I would never let die.
“Generations of pupils here have learnt all about Robert Burns and his work. The children here really enjoy working on Burns and put a lot into it.”
