The four finalists in this year’s Midlothian ‘Battle of the Bands’ will play it out for top place at Woodburn Miners’ Club on Friday.

The final is one of the highlights of this year’s Midfest festival, and is your chance to support local bands Retro Video Club, Aperture, Liquid State and Harry Noble, who will be battling it out for ‘best band’ title.

The winners will be the opening act at the Midstock Music Festival, playing in front of thousands of enthusiastic revellers at Dalkeith Country Park on Saturday, September 12. The first runners-up will also have the chance to play at the popular Midfest family fun day, at the same venue, on Sunday, September 13.

The Battle of the Bands final at Woodburn Miners’ Club,on Friday at 7.30pm. Tickets, £3 on the door.
