Safety for babies and children in cars has been highlighted with a national campaign launched at a Midlothian store.

The Good Egg In-Car Child Safety campaign was heralded by Michael McDonnell, director of Road Safety Scotland, at IKEA’s Straiton branch.

Now in its 12th year, the programme is designed to ensure that babies and children are properly restrained while travelling in the car.
