Police are appealing for information following a housebreaking and theft in Dalkeith.
Between 11pm on Tuesday, March 15 and 10.30am the following morning, a house on Mitchell Street was subject to a break-in. A wallet and car keys were stolen.
The keys were then used to take a white BMW 320d M Sport, registration J444 GLS, from the property.
PC Scott Clark of Musselburgh’s Community Investigation Unit, said: “Housebreaking and car theft are deeply personal crimes and we’re utilising various resources in an effort to trace those responsible.
“Anyone who may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area around this time, or has information which can help us establish the whereabouts of the car and return it to it’s rightful owner, is urged to get in touch.”
