Mysterious ‘bombs’ have been dropped on Bonnyrigg town centre, and a gang of local women are claiming responsibility.

The culprits – including Angela Doig , above – are members of a local ‘knit and stitch’ group.
Following three weeks of preparation, they used needles and yarn, as well as their own creativity, to transform the town’s shopping precinct.
Arts worker at the Orchard Centre Louise Logan said: “Members of our Knit and Stitch Group had great fun planning our craft bombs and worked hard to produce some fantastic pieces which we hope made people smile.”
