Bonnyrigg’s musical youth do their bit for charity

BUDDING Midlothian musicians have sung their way into a national charity’s hearts.

Youngsters at Hawthornden Primary School in Bonnyrigg got the chance to write and record their own tune for Comic Relief, which celebrated Red Nose Day last week.

Primary four pupils, working with music producer Alan Penman, created “Money Box Shakers”, which was broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland’s Get it On programme, hosted by Brian Burnett.
