A MIDLOTHIAN childcare group has painted itself into a corner as a birthday treat.

A new After School Club and Breakfast Club was then started in the community facilities at Strathesk Primary School.

The group helps at school fairs and local events and, more recently, has been forging ties with 2 SCOTS at Glencorse Barracks. Director Simon Carroll said: “We have been working with 2 SCOTS for a number of months now and are now providing monthly themed family Sunday lunches, with entertainment for both children and adults, face painting, bouncy castles and disco games. Our Ickle-World artistic team have also recently worked on improving and brightening up the soft play area in Scots Corner, the community centre for army families.”
