A fundraising campaign by Penicuik Medical Centre proved just the trick to provide treats for members of a local day care centre.
It was a happy Hallowe’en for the Broomhill Day Centre when the health professionals handed over a donation of £3,150.
To raise the money, which will go towards the day centre’s amenity fund, GPs and staff from the Imrie Place centre held three fundraising events.
Dr Lutte said: “Broomhill Day Centre was chosen as this year’s charity for several reasons. Foremost, it provides an invaluable service to patients, particularly to those who are at risk of isolation in our community due to life circumstances.”
