Miller Homes site manager David Mathie has won a Seal of Excellence in the second round of the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards 2015.

The awards, known as the “Oscars of the House Building Industry”, have been recognising the work of the best site managers delivering high-quality homes for the past 35 years.

David was selected from around 15,000 UK site managers, and was one of 12 recognised at a ceremony for his site in Auchendinny.

Malcolm MacLeod, NHBC regional director, congratulated David on his win: “NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recognises the hard work it takes to build high quality homes and rewards the excellence these awards uncover.

“I have visited hundreds of sites, and to reach this level of the competition means without question you have to be the elite of this industry. #

“David is building homes of a very high standard, and is worthy of a Seal of Excellence.

“At NHBC we believe that recognising the workmanship of the best site managers plays an important role in bringing high-quality homes to consumers, creating homes we are proud to live in.”
