A HEARTBROKEN six-year-old is making a plea for his missing pet rabbit to be returned.
Karen Jackson (47) and her son Makenzie were shocked to discover their beloved pet, Nemo, was missing last week.
Nemo has been part of the family for four years and Makenzie, a P1 pupil at Gorebridge Primary School, is appealing for help to find his pet.
He said: “Can you get my rabbit back? He’s black and has got a big white collar round his neck and a big white stripe over his body. He’s friendly.”
The family believe Nemo, along with his ceramic food bowl and water bottle, was stolen from the hutch at the back of their Gorebridge home overnight on Wednesday, March 30.
Mrs Jackson has reported the missing rabbit to police in Gorebridge and urged anyone who has seen him to get in touch.
