Swimmer Scott Quin has been presented with a Nissan Pulsar I.5 car by Nissan dealership Alex F Noble & Son based at Straiton, Loanhead.
Scott (26), who has Crouzon syndrome, said of his new car: “This is a welcome boost for me and my family, as my mum drives me to all of my 10 training sessions per week, with land training and appointments on top of that. I’m excited to be supported by Alex F Noble & Son as the Games approach in September.”
David Noble, dealer principal at Alex F Noble and Son Nissan, said: “We were delighted to have been able to sponsor Scott through the provision of a Pulsar car.
“With both our Nissan dealership and Scott’s family based in Loanhead, there was an obvious local connection. However, with Nissan itself being the official automotive partner to both the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games, it gave us a great opportunity to underline the brand’s association with a major global event at grass roots level.”
The initial 12-month sponsorship includes road tax, insurance and all servicing and maintenance.
