Police in Midlothian can confirm that two women have been charged, along with a man and a teenage boy, in connection with dishonesty offences.
Two woman, aged 17 and 18, have been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with two offences including housebreaking.
A 16 year old man has also been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with dishonesty offences including two housebreakings and various road traffic offences.
A 15-year-old male has been charged with dishonesty offences including two housebreakings and various road traffic offences and will be reported to the Children’s Reporter.
These offences took place between Saturday, April 1 and Monday, April 3, in the Bonnyrigg, Dalkeith and Edinburgh areas and included the theft of three vehicles, one of which has since been recovered.
Detective Sergeant Brian Manchester of Musselburgh Police Station said: “Tackling crimes of dishonesty remain a priority for officers in Midlothian and local communities can be reassured that we will do everything possible to trace those involved.
