Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace a Dalkeith man who has been reported missing.
Ronald Pryde had been with his wife at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on Tuesday, September 3 before boarding a Number 33 LRT bus on his own between 1.15-1.30pm.
When his wife returned later that day she expected the 73-year-old to be home. H
owever, he was not within the property and has not been seen or heard from since.
Anyone who can assist officers in locating him is asked now asked to come forward.
He is described as white, 5ft 11ins tall, short brown greying hair with slim build and a predominant hunch when walking.
He was last seen wearing black trousers, black shoes, light grey polo shirt, blue waist length jacket with grey collar.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We are concerned for Mr Pryde’s safety, as he has not been in contact with his family, which is out of character for him.
“If anyone has seen him, or may know where he is, I would urge you to contact police immediately, as his family are very worried about him”.
