Midstock Music Festival has announced pop band Scouting for Girls as its headliner for this year’s event at Dalkeith Country Park.
Million-selling British pop band Scouting For Girls released their Greatest Hits in 2013, giving the band their fourth Top 10 album. Over the course of the last 10 years the band have sold over two million records, and racked up four Brit Award nominations, an Ivor Novello nomination and four Top 10 singles.
Scouting for Girls are looking forward to playing Midlothian on Saturday, September 3, they said: “We’re delighted to be headlining Midstock Festival this year. Any Scottish audiences are great but we hear this one likes to party and we’re all set to rock the place! It’s going to be a great day and we look forward to playing in such a fantastic setting too. See you all there!”

Animals and Friends, Airport Impressions, Jamie & Shoony, Jack Robertson, Caitlyn Vanbeck.
Arlene Stuart, co-presenter of Forth One’s Breakfast Show, Boogie In The Morning, will once again compere the show.
The addition of two local performers, Jack Robertson and Caitlyn Vanbeck cements the show’s policy of supporting the Scottish music scene as well as the Lothians’ community. Family friendly Midstock Festival will also have a range of food and drink outlets as well as fairground rides and stalls.
