Dalkeith music session for children

Families are invited to explore their musical side at Mini Music Makers classes in Dalkeith.

The musical sessions, run by the National Youth Choir of Scotland (NYCoS), are designed to open up the world of music to young children aged up to three years and their parents. The emphasis is on fun – tickling games, bouncing songs, play songs and lullabies from NYCoS song book Singing Games and Rhymes for Tiny Tots bring the music to life. It is never too early to start singing with children – they will listen and learn.

These playful sessions are great value and provide some of that quality time between parent and child that can be so precious in today’s busy world.

Led by Mary Macleod, the new term for Dalkeith Mini Music Makers will take place on Monday mornings at Kirkbank Centre from August 22 to October 10 (no classes on September 19), costing just £35 for seven weeks, and will cater for the following age groups: 18 months – three years, 9.30-10am; and 0 - 18 months, 10.20-11am.
