The second phase of the demolition of the old Lasswade High School building began earlier this month.

A brand new £37.1m school is due to open next week.

It was built by the council working in partnership with contractors BAM, the Scottish Futures Trust and the Scottish Government.

The old grounds are to be made into football, rugby and one 3G pitch for the school and local community.
