St David’s RC Primary has received a largely positive report by Government inspectors who recently visited the school.
HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE) inspected the denominational school, which serves Dalkeith and the surrounding area, in June.
During the visit, they noted individual strengths of the school, in particular its “well-behaved and polite” children who were eager to learn.
Among the largely positive findings, however, there were a few areas where the HMIE believed the school ‘could do better’.
