Roslin Glen Country Park has been awarded Green Flag status for a second year running.
The honour recognises the hard work of the Midlothian Ranger Service, in partnership with groups such as the Lothian Conservation Volunteers, the Criminal Justice Team, and local volunteers.
In recent years, Roslin Primary pupils, youth groups and Friends of Roslin Glen have planted wildflower meadows and hedges, and carried out an annual spring clean. The country park was created around 30 years ago.
Flag-winning parks are judged against eight criteria including being well-maintained, welcoming and safe, showing care for the environment, conservation and heritage, and providing information for visitors.
