Flooding hell at Easthouses home

A MIDLOTHIAN family’s dream move to a new home has been shattered by flooding.

Mark Dignan and Tracy Somerville are still in a state of shock several weeks after water cascaded into their Easthouses bungalow from waste ground bordering a field.

The couple’s rented four-bedroom property in Old School Crescent is without much of its floor covering, and Mr Dignan won’t replace it until adequate external drainage is installed.
