The results of the Coalfields Community Futures household survey will be unveiled at an open day at Gorebridge Parish Church on Saturday, 12pm to 3pm.
The project’s steering group has received lots of proposals for inclusion in the former mining village’s five-year action plan.
Those attending the open day will have their chance to vote on the initiatives that emerged from the survey, or to suggest their own proposals.
They can also have their say on who shares the £20,000 Coalfields Regeneration Trust’s participatory budget. Organiser Ellen Scott said: “It’s a real chance for local people to have their say in shaping the area’s future.”
