The new museum facility at Dalkeith Corn Exchange continues to flourish.
A new programme of drawing events is being offered led by Melville Housing Association’s heritage officer and artist Fiona Maher.
Fiona is currently exhibiting at The Scottish Arts Club, Rutland Square, as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and is an experienced arts facilitator.
The sessions will start on Wednesday, September 14 and will be held on each second Wednesday of the month after that . Sessions will run from 10.30am to noon.
Using objects from the museum as a reference point, participants will have the opportunity to develop techniques in observation and drawing whilst learning about the stories behind the objects. Materials will be provided and participants of all abilities are welcome.
