Do you have a favourite cafe, restaurant, hotel or bar in Midlothian, or been particularly impressed by the quality of the food and drink while out in the county?

If the answer’s yes, now’s the time to get voting in the 2017 Midlothian Food and Drinks Awards, organised by Midlothian Tourism Forum and Midlothian Council. There are seven categories in this year’s awards – best place for a coffee, best place for a pint, best cafe lunch, best restaurant lunch, best place for dinner, best place for a takeaway and best customer service.

The public can vote on the first six categories while the customer service category will be judged by ‘mystery shoppers’.

You can cast your votes until April 23 online at www.visitmidlothian.org.uk.
