The annual exhibition runs from November 14-28 at Dalkeith Arts Centre, open between 10am to 3pm daily (not Sundays). Entry is free.

Rod Lugg, chairman of the group formerly known as Dalkeith Arts, Music and Events (DAME), said: “If you want to exhibit, the hand-in is on the evening of Thursday, November 12 (5-7pm).

“Pick up submission forms at Dalkeith Library or download from our website - www.dalkeitharts.org .

“There will also be a music night at the exhibition on Saturday, November 21, tickets are on sale now from the Dalkeith Library £5 each.

“Playing will be two local bands OTP and Mb3. An evening of blues and acoustic covers, doors open at 6.30pm.

“And as there’s no bar you can bring your own bottle! ”

Rod highlighted the group’s desire to help local artists: “We are committed to providing support and opportunity for local talent and also are organising some art and craft workshops early in 2016 for local people to come along and learn new skills or develop/enhance existing ones.”
