MIDLOTHIAN youngsters took a walk on the wild side last week and celebrated a special birthday.
Pupils from Glencorse Primary School visited the Edinburgh Technopole to help the science park celebrate 10 years as an innovative hub for science and technology businesses.
Seventeen pupils took part in the planting of a wild flower meadow and learned about the unique plant life on the estate.
This was followed by a tour round the park’s nature trail and birthday cake.
