Gorebridge fishing deaths probe continues

SPECIALIST police search teams have recovered the sunken boat of two fishermen who died in a Midlothian reservoir.

The wooden vessel was plucked from the depths of Gladhouse Reservoir, near Gorebridge, after being detected by sonar equipment.

It will now be examined with a view to establishing the cause of the incident which claimed the lives of David Archibald (59) and Andrew Conlon (56), both from Dalkeith.
