Two more grants have been approved for the Gorebridge Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) to improve the Main Street.
Launched last October, the first grant from the £700,000 scheme, which provides 75 per cent of the costs needed to renovate a building, was awarded in February.
Now a grant of £24,906 has been given to carry out £33,209 worth of repair and restoration work on number 33 Main Street.
While £4,464 has been awarded for the renovation of the shop front at 5 Main Street, the total cost of the work is £5,952.00.
