With many actors competing with each other for one role in a stage production, Blair Grandison from Bonnyrigg will be appearing in two shows at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Throughout most of August Blair will be appearing as Prince Nastavia in the children’s show ‘Princess Pumpalot: the Farting Princess’ at 11.30am. While later in the day he will appear as Brad Majors in ‘A Virgin’s Guide to... Rocky Horror’ at 10.30pm.

Blair is looking forward to the challenge of playing two such different roles almost every day for four weeks.

He said: “The only way to learn as an actor is to take on new and interesting characters and certainly Prince Nastavia and Brad Majors are two very different characters.

“It’s Jekyll and Hyde!

“Perhaps the only similarity between the shows is the healthy amount of audience participation.

“I just hope I don’t get the shows mixed up.”

Princess Pumpalot: The Farting Princess and The Virgin’s Guide to....Rocky Horror are both on at the New Town Theatre in George Street, Edinburgh, July 31- August 24 (not 12).
