THREE Midlothian leaders have been honoured for their contribution to the Army Cadet Force.

Louise D’Arcy, Tracy Gould and Scott Borthwick, members of the Lothian & Borders Battalion, were awarded Certificates of Meritorious Service at a recent ceremony in Midlothian House, Dalkeith.

The presentations were made by the Lord Lieutenant of Midlothian, Patrick Prenter CBE, and the event was hosted by the Provost of Midlothian, Councillor Joe Wallace.
