AN all-day music event in Penicuik has raised £836 for a Midlothian care facility.

Cherry Aid was organised by Alan Henderson and Ross McVie, from Penicuik, in association with Brenda Thomson and Kenny McCraw from the Cherry Road Resource Centre in Bonnyrigg, which provides services for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.

The event in the Craigiebield House Hotel featured 30 musicians, stalls and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses.
