Police are appealing for witnesses following a knifepoint robbery in Penicuik.
The incident happened at around 11.30am on Tuesday, May 28.
A 25-year-old man was walking along a pathway to the rear of Windsor Drive when, after withdrawing money from the cash machine at the Post Office on John Street, a man approached and threatened him with a knife.
The man robbed the victim of a three-figure sum before making off towards Eastfield.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist with their investigation to come forward.
The suspect is described as white, in his late 20s, skinny build, with facial stubble, and wearing a grey hooded top and navy blue trousers.
