Comic Relief - Face the Funny (Friday, March 13, BBC One, 7pm)

What’s It All About? Davina McCall, Lenny Henry and David Walliams can sleep well of an evening - after all they’re certainly no strangers to rolling back their sleeves and mucking in with whatever charity work is required of them.

In fact, if it’s a dull and cloudy night outside tonight, that’s because all the stars - anyone and everyone - are turning out for a night of celebrity performances, comedy sketches and charity challenges for this year’s Comic Relief to raise money for disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa.

Davina kicks off a night of fun and frivolity live from the London Palladium. For the first hour, she’s joined by Lenny Henry, and they will introduce Rowan Atkinson in a new Mr Bean sketch, guest-starring Ben Miller and Rebecca Front, while Dermot O’Leary will finally get the chance to sit down as his 24-hour dance marathon comes to an end.

From 8pm, it’s David Walliams’ turn to co-host with Davina, as they introduce a special Vicar of Dibley in which Geraldine (Dawn French) is up for the job of bishop against some very famous competition indeed.
