The Loanhead-based Premium Roll Company has another top class product coming out its ovens on a daily basis.
The firm’s bran scone round has been shortlisted in the Scottish Baker of the Year 2015 competition.
Managing director Graeme Ford said: “It is a competition we enter every year. We have always done very well with our morning rolls and this year I entered the scone section. So far so good as we have been shortlisted.”
The company uses a family recipe for its bran scones as the Ford family used to have the Ford Bakery business, which operated for three generations.
