A MIDLOTHIAN cyclist who was crushed by a lorry is calling on the public to help identify the driver.

Raymond Richford, from Loanhead, was cycling on the A6094 Howgate to Leadburn road on May 30 last year when the vehicle tried to overtake him.

The 44-year-old was knocked from his bike and fell under the lorry’s wheels – a collision that left him fighting for his life.
