Haggis manufacturer Macsween narrowly missed out on a top honour in the Arts and Business Scotland 2015 Award.

The company, based at Bilston Glen Industrial Estate, had been shortlisted in the Entrepreneurship category, which recognises a partnership that has developed business expertise or opportunities within the cultural organisation.

Macsween was shortlisted for its 60th anniversary projects and its subsequent show ‘Haggis Haggis Haggis – The True Story’ which had its premiere at the Edinburgh International Fringe in 2014.

On the night the award went to Buchanan Food & Woodend Barn.
