A Midlothian opticians has helped a team of budding footballers train in style thanks to a new sponsorship agreement.

Specsavers Dalkeith is proud to announce that it is sponsoring the football kits for Loanhead Miners Youth Football Club 2004.

The store has gifted over £500 to the club as part of its ongoing support for local clubs and charities.

Craig Selbie, store director for Specsavers Dalkeith, says: “It is an absolute pleasure to support the youth team at Loanhead Miners Football Club and we think the players look great in their new kit.

“At Specsavers Dalkeith, we aim to sit at the heart of the community and we are always keen to support local clubs and charities in any way we can.

“We wish the team all the best for the rest of the season.”

Donald Bain, head coach at the football club said: “Loanhead Miners is delighted to team up with Specsavers in Dalkeith to sponsor our youth football team.

“We coach around 15 children each week and look forward to seeing them all wearing the Loanhead badge and Specsavers logo with pride.

“We would like to thank Specsavers for its support and look forward to working together in the future.”
